Please see http://larrythecow.org/. Per discussion on the mailing list, the website used to be Funtoo related but seems to have since been commercialized. It might be wise to do something about the website. Personally, it looks like the content is commercial enough to be trying to provoke someone into taking action, but not commercial enough to actually provide much revenue for whoever is running the website (i.e. a successful claim against the owner would result in little to no money). Respectfully, R0b0t1
This is Trustees territory, therefore reassigning.
Meeting today had the following action email them to inform of logo usage guidelines (to get them to stop using our logo), failing that, contact hosting provider I'll be emailing them some time this week
For the record, prometheanfire emailed them on 2017/10/30. Trustees@ were CC'd. As of 2017/11/06, there was no response yet.
No response to the emails, next step is to contact the hosting provider.

That site is online (still? or again?). Reopening.

Second email sent 20190706 to QuadraNet hosting provider. Failure to reply will result in a DMCA request being filed. "Quadranet, I am emailing once again before proceeding with a DMCA request against larrythecow.org which is hosted on your infrastructure. If you could please assist on this matter it would be greatly appreciated."
Hosting provider contacted via phone. Email was not received. Email forwarded to support and abuse aliases @quadranet.com. Support analyst confirmed receipt via phone and stated a response will be given within 48 hours.
Email received back from QuadraNet: "Subject: [#9130409] Fwd: Re: larrythecow.org" "Ensure that all abuse reports contain a single IP address in the body of your email. Failure to provide an IP address will cause a delay in abuse processing and multiple IP addresses may cause a delay in abuse processing. Our typical reaction time is 72 hours. If your abuse issue isn't handled within 96 hours please respond to this message or call us at: +1 213-614-9371 x1" "Thank you for your report of abuse. We have a strict policy regarding abuse and are forwarding this report to our customer. As is the standard for abuse issues, our clients have between 24 and 48 business hours to comply with this issue. If you still see this issue after this time, please feel free to respond to this ticket, and we will investigate further."
It seems they dropped the logo. Can anyone confirm?
(In reply to Francesco Turco from comment #12) > It seems they dropped the logo. Can anyone confirm? Ack. Closing, as discussed in today's trustees meeting.
