Description David Morgan 2004-09-09 05:22:44 UTC
Summary pretty much says it all - I can't play any mp3s because I get that error message

From what I've seen on google, it seems to be gstreamer related, but I don't know how to fix it

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add an mp3 to rhythmbox
2. Double click it/press play
3.

Actual Results:
Error:
Could not create audio output element; check your settings

Expected Results:
Play the song

Run gstreamer-properties and set it up according to what you use.
Comment 2 David Morgan 2004-09-23 03:05:26 UTC
That fixed it, thanks (though I didn't actually have to change anything)
Comment 3 whitehawk 2005-08-24 09:31:52 UTC
What do I need to run gstreamer-properties? Since I can't find such executable.
