Is this bug regarding www-client/firefox-56.0 or www-client/firefox-bin-56.0 ? Or both?

I will leave this open but we will not roll a new patchset or include the patch in gentoo's firefox-56.0 build.

Agreed. Any issues with flash going forward should be a new bug.
