Description Yang Dehua 2004-09-08 17:23:01 UTC
I emerged linux26-headers 2.6.8.1 into my ppc64(2004.2), compiled against glibc 20040808, and succeeded. The NPTL is supported now, so I can finally use ibm java 1.4.2. tomcat 4.1.30 works, jdk's jfc demos work except SwingSet2 that aborts with error signal 6.
I also tried jboss 3.2.5, it didnt work(hanged). Compiling ant-1.6.2 hanged at stage of jaring package ant-launcher, I suspect there could be some issues with jaring function in ant programs under ppc64 java.
