The postinst-en.txt only lists a <Directory> directive for htdocs.  It also needs one for hostroot/cgi-bin. 

Also, it says that you can use the awstats_configure.pl tool to generate a correct config.  This is incorrect as the script is not aware of the split of files from wwwroot to htdocs and hostroot.
