Description Thomas Capricelli 2017-09-24 11:29:57 UTC
Hi, with the current tree, my (@world) update is blocked by this, and i don't know how to resolve it. I've never had any problem with those, and i dont have any specific settings regarding those packages in /etc/portage/

!!! Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been pulled
!!! into the dependency graph, resulting in a slot conflict:

dev-libs/protobuf:0

  (dev-libs/protobuf-3.3.0:0/13::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) pulled in by
    dev-libs/protobuf:0/13= required by (dev-qt/qtwebengine-5.7.1-r2:5/5.7::gentoo, installed)

  (dev-libs/protobuf-3.4.1:0/14::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) pulled in by
    ~dev-libs/protobuf-3.4.1 required by (dev-python/protobuf-python-3.4.1:0/14::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge)

Take a look at "Example of block conflict"

Explains how to resolve it. If you still have issues, please ask for support on IRC (#gentoo), forums, or the gentoo-users mailing list.
