strace of teamview12

after upgrade teamviewer12 pauses and dies with no output from command line.

I am attaching an strace which shows the exit.

I did rebuild libxcb -O1 which fixed the prior version.

for me too
Comment 2 Harris Landgarten 2017-09-23 20:14:33 UTC
downgrade freetype to 2.8 fixes the problem.

packaged wine seqfaults with freetype 2.8.1 and system-wine will not build with 2.8.1

wine backtrace

I have the same problem, and downgrading to freetype 2.8 didn't help.

To be extra sure, I've just rebuilt all my system (emerge -1NDuvea @world --with-bdeps y --complete-graph y --keep-going) masking freetype 2.8.1 and still no go.

As you can see from backtrace, libxcb is not referenced - so it seems that not bug #621918 nor bug #616402 are involved.

My current workaround: use teamviewer portable for windows in wine. Up to now, all seems fine (tests still in progress).
And surprisingly, it works with WINEARCH=win64

This version of net-misc/teamviewer was removed in git commit 10c2ceaeed402f8f73447dbac9a1bfceb00aef02
