On the Bugzilla start page https://bugs.gentoo.org/ there's a link to http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/bugzilla-howto.xml On the "New Bug" page https://bugs.gentoo.org/enter_bug.cgi?format=guided there are various HTTP links to other Gentoo pages: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/bugzilla-howto.xml#doc_chap6 http://forums.gentoo.org/ http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/irc.xml http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/backtraces.xml http://www.gentoo.org/security/en/#doc_chap3 All of those directly forward to HTTPS, thus linking them via HTTP causes just unnecessary redirects.
This commit fixes all of the instances that were in the Bugzilla source/templates: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/proj/gentoo-bugzilla.git/commit/?id=d4be0b1308944c237d19cf6bedf1262be0f77a07 The last one, http://www.gentoo.org/security/en/#doc_chap3, is in the database, and I fixed it there. It should deploy the changes within the next 2 hours, please reopen if problem persists.
