A pretty annoying bug has occured for the mICQ version 0.4.9 users.
It causes a long message to appear on the screen every thirty seconds or so, 
and is unavoidable since it's server-side related.
The only way to avoid that this message appear is to upgrade 
to the new version (0.4.9.2b). This new version correct a few bugs and defaults 
of the preceding version (man pages are installed now, some memory leaks 
fixed, etc.).

i put it in the cvs-tree.. thanks for the contribution
