As you are getting this crashes on radeonsi driver in so many apps (even this could be a dupe of bug 617852), I think this should be checked by mesa maintainers first, as it doesn't look gnome specific for now :/ Please post "emerge --info mesa" output and also try to get a newer backtrace than the one from https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=617852#c1
