Well, our ebuild is patching an awful build system of an awfully outdated vlc (they prefer not to do releases anymore it seems) and their Qt5 situation is grim. Needless to say they refuse to fix known issues in their stable branch and then are wondering why downstream is applying patches.

Maybe we should just snapshot 9999 at some point.

In the meantime, since I guess it is caused by USE=qt5, please re-test with USE="qt4 -qt5".

my mistake, it was still picking up the old window position from when it was messed up.

This time it stayed put.
