Fixes relative to "dev-python/ReportLab/ReportLab-1.14.ebuild,v 1.2 2002/07/27 06:25:36 george": - Compiles the 3 optional C extension modules present in reportlab/lib so some functions are now much faster. - No 'reportlab.pth' file made. Despite the slightly confusing instructions in its 'README' ReportLab is only ever used as a package. - 'rl_config.py' patched so that ReportLab can easily find and make use of T1 and TT fonts installed for X11. - Less redundancy in the 'setup.py' file. I confess to having used a list comprehension in my new 'setup.py' so it now demends on ">=dev-lang/python-2.0" rather than ">=dev-lang/python-1.5", but gentoo doesn't date back that far anyway so I don't think that it could trouble anyone.

Peter, I've just been given -dev access and I am in the process of getting this ebuild into portage (if someone else hasn't already). Please be patient. Thanks, Troy.
Reportlab is now up to version 1.17. I've built it (without the fontpaths.patch) using the 1.14 ebuild. I suggest you try the new release.
ReportLab-1.17 committed to CVS. It is currently ~masked. Please test and let me know if it works for you so that it can be marked stable for the 1.4 release. My apologies for taking so long to get to this.
The new 1.17 ebuild works fine for me.
1.17 works fine. bumped up to stable.
