Comment 6 Kalin KOZHUHAROV 2017-09-12 08:22:08 UTC
I submitted issue upstream https://github.com/google/brotli/issues/594

And I guess bug #628634 should be closed as duplicate.
Comment 7 Kalin KOZHUHAROV 2017-09-12 08:40:46 UTC
So, as per upstream, it is already fixed in master, to become brotli-1.0.0 in a week or so (and this bug should be resolved after a revbump).
Comment 8 Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2017-09-12 09:01:34 UTC
*** Bug 628634 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***

brotli-1.0.2-no-rpath.patch

Brotli 1.0 has been released: https://github.com/google/brotli/releases

Renaming brotli-0.6.0.ebuild to brotli-1.0.2.ebuild works fine with an updated "no-rpath" path. Could someone please bump this package?

app-arch/brotli-1.0.2 has been pushed: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/commit/b742b9950f200ac5b13be7409f87256bd0eec6e8
