As of https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/5478 I would like to take over the pydot maintainership.

I don't think we use bugs like this to request maintainership anymore, generally you'd just submit some meaningful changes for the package and update metadata with that as needed. For further info see:

In addition, I just bumped this to 1.2.3 in the tree so perhaps you won't have to take it over as quickly. :)
