Description Renat Lumpau (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-04 07:22:19 UTC
Description:
XRMS provides a fully-integrated suite of PHP Web-based customer relationship management (CRM), Sales Force Automation (SFA), and business intelligence (BI) tools, allowing companies to integrate their sales, service, and marketing data into a single information store.

Looking at it, this should be pretty straightforward. However, XRMS is currently a bit rough around the edges, and I'd like to see it in Portage when it matures a bit.

xrms is now in our unofficial overlay:
http://svn.gnqs.org/projects/gentoo-webapps-overlay/browser/experimental/www-apps/xrms

Please note that the overlay is unofficial, not a Gentoo project, and not
supported. It is intended to provide easier access to new web applications.

Candidate for inclusion in main tree
Comment 3 Brian G. Peterson 2006-11-19 14:46:09 UTC
I'm the Development Team Lead for XRMS, and a long time Gentoo user.

The experimental xrms ebuild builds fine, and I would very much like to see it move into the main portage tree.

I would also be available to update/maintain the ebuild as necessary for new releases, etc.

Regards,
