long urls like: http://bugs.gentoo.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_s tatus=REOPENED&chfield=assigned_to&chfieldfrom=2004-08-14&chfieldto=2004-08 -20&assigned_to=kernel@gentoo.org in the gwn are cut in three pieces everytime. No mail client can use this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. subscribe gwn 2. wait for an issue 3. scroll down to a long url Actual Results: http://bugs.gentoo.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_s tatus=REOPENED&chfield=assigned_to&chfieldfrom=2004-08-14&chfieldto=2004-08 -20&assigned_to=kernel@gentoo.org in 3 pieces Expected Results: http://bugs.gentoo.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&chfield=assigned_to&chfieldfrom=2004-08-14&chfieldto=2004-08-20&assigned_to=kernel@gentoo.org I think this have something todo with wrapping on the mailing list server. Maybe an idea to make a gentoo link forwarder that keeps url short like http://www.gentoo.org/forwarder.php?linkid=xxxxx
this is actually a function of how the text version of the GWN is generated. Assigning to plate.
This hasn't been the case for a very long time... I'm manually editing the text version of the GWN every week to prevent line-breakage in links.
