Are you also using usersandbox?
good question, Chris - yes
You're going to have to merge the summary and the text to actually say what is going on. Here's my guess explaination/info-request: If you don't have that file and it's reporting the inability to unlink, what were you doing relating to /tmp and sandbox? Did you have a concurrent execution of portage or repoman? Anything modifying files?
>what were you doing relating to /tmp and sandbox? Beside having "userpriv usersandbox" in features - nothing. >have a concurrent execution of portage or repoman? no >Anything modifying files? no The not so funny thing: Even though I asked in #gentoo-dev and ferringb said he could reproduce it - I can't anymore. It was the first emerge <foo> after switching from .50 to .51 and I'm pretty sure, that I did not execute portage stuff concurrently.
I have used userpriv/usersandbox exclusively and never have seen this problem either. I'm running _pre20 too.
can't be duplicated
