Out of kernel drivers have no bearing on stabilization.

This kernel have some problems with WIFI on 2 of my computers.
One with USB wifi module: https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Edimax_EW-7733UnD
It just doesn't work and empty in logs, the latest message in the log that firmware successfully loaded.

Another one with Killer™ Wireless-AC 1535 (on my laptop) it works when I restart computer, but after some time it just stops to work and again no messages in the logs. Interface is UP, IP assigned, but traffic not going, I can see only arp request for the gw ip address outgoing and no reply.

On my laptop switched back to 4.11.10 and it works fine.

Any suggestions how to debug this would be helpful.

p.s. should I open separate ticket for this?

Yes, we don't use stable bugs for this. Open up another bug.

On ppc64 all PCIe Radeon r600-cards I tried stopped working (on my G5) starting from kernel 4.11 onwards. Last working kernel ist 4.9. See: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99851

But don't know if/how non Apple ppc-gear get hit by this bug.
