Description Hans de Graaff gentoo-dev Security 2017-08-06 05:51:59 UTC
This package still uses ruby 2.1. Ruby 2.1 is no longer supported upstream and will be removed soon. Please update your package to use a newer ruby slot.

Use ruby 2.2 if you can only use one slot and your package is in arch
Use ruby 2.3 if you can only use one slot and your package is in ~arch

Use as many ruby targets as possible when you can use multiple slots.

This package has now been masked for removal.

Seems a shame to lose this. It actually has a bundled-libs flag so perhaps just using the bundled Ruby is an option but even better than that, there is an open source engine for running this game. It's not clear what state it's in but it has a lot of commits. The parent project was mentioned on Phoronix a few years back.

I don't have the game but I guess I could fork out a few £...

Looks like this still targets ruby 2.0 which is also obsolete, and it also reveals that the official game engine was done for ruby 1.8, so I guess that is what is bundled.
