Version 2.0.2 was released a few days ago. Could you please commit the newer version in portage?

You can help the maintainer with further information:
Does a simple bump [1] work on your system? 
Chances are high, because a first look on the bump revealed only small changes.

app-emulation/wine-vanilla has been updated. app-emulation/wine doesn't seem to be getting updates, isn't it going away soon?

Please use app-emulation/wine-vanilla if you want stable releases of upstream wine.

Ok, but all releases in the wine-vanilla package are testing and hard masked...

Give it some time (sync your tree), and you'll have your Wine.  :]
