This means that:

1. Any mailing will be dropped silently unless the sender is subscribed (that's why you didn't get status ping).

2. This address is used as project identifier which is kinda silly.

I just tested and I get email to both

    musl@gentoo.org

    gentoo-musl@lists.gentoo.org

However, it seems that the first email is the one most in use.  I don't know how we got into this state of affairs.

wiki page has been updated to use musl@gentoo.org
