Well since ipw2100 0.53 never got into portage I might as well try 0.54. It is very stable and there is nothing wrong with it. I would strongly advice this one to be put in. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge ipw2100
1) It's not critical for a simple version bump. 2) We get the emails too. If it isn't bumped in a week or so, *THEN* submit this bug. 3) See bug #61078 that you yourself opened, where brix has posted a 0.54 ebuild.
1. It is critial the current one in portage causes a kernel panic when the module is unloaded 2. Ive been using this driver since it came out and I had to push for it to be in so waiting a week seemed pointless 3. I can make the ebuild myself its getting it INTO portage that needs to be done.
