All versions since 2.4.44 fail, this is how 2.4.45 fails:

This test is running on a Perl 5.26 smoke chroot, so if it looks like Perl is to blame, please say so, but I see no evidence of that.

However, this might be relevant ( and I'm not able to fix it because I can't downgrade sys-libs/db , it fails )

sys-libs/db-5.3.28-r2::gentoo was built with the following:

This tests works for me with version 2.4.48 on sparc, but then there comes this error:

both seems fine now, please open a new ticket if something is wrong.
