Description Maciej Piechotka 2017-07-13 21:14:36 UTC
Unfortunately it is semi-production system so I cannot spend more time on this but some patch between 2.9.0-r2 and 2.9.0-r54 causes crash. It happens at the end of boot and only in full mode (safe mode with networking doesn't trigger it). I suspect something in qxl graphics (though installing driver on Windows did not fix the problem).

I fear it will be difficult to fix anything with so few details, please try to add more information. Why do you think the problem is in the ebuild and not in the upstream code?

Because it was introduced between -r2 and -r54. As far as I understand changes between -rx and -ry are only in ebuild.

Cannot reproduce with -r55+
Comment 4 Maciej Piechotka 2017-08-29 20:54:42 UTC
It has been reintroduced in -r56.
Comment 5 Maciej Piechotka 2017-08-29 21:21:50 UTC
Ok. Got the backtrace in -r2 and posted on qemu bugzilla.
