since 0.8.4 the maintainer says to me, on irc, regarding old versions (0.8.4 and 0.9.1): 23:53:00 The-Compiler | What's the point of still having those 23:54:09 The-Compiler | I can understand keeping v0.11.0 around whenever v1.0.0 comes out, but keeping older versions is pointless imho
remove those two old versions, remove the dep to qtwebkit , and replace the old versions with 0.11 https://github.com/qutebrowser/qutebrowser/releases
qutebrowser upstream here - currently, QtWebKit is still the default backend for qutebrowser, and I'd hope that Gentoo packages the updated QtWebKit at some point: https://github.com/annulen/webkit/wiki With v1.0 somewhen later this year, QtWebEngine will become the default, and support for QtWebKit before 5.212 (i.e. the updated one I linked) will be dropped. But that's not the case yet.
