Newest libtirpc version fails with the attached error.  I believe an eautorconf call in src_prepare will fix this.  Of course you will also need to inherit autotools for that.

Yup, sorry about that.  I ran into the automake error as well, but only on my amd64 machine, and at the last minute.  Didn't hit it on the mips machine.  The cause appears to be libtirpc's make system not liking the third octet of the automake version "1.15.1".  I downgraded to automake-1.15-r2 and it would compile fine.  Probably means upstream needs to re-roll their makefiles to handle the third octet.  Thanks for the quick fix!
