Could we please expedite the procedure of making the ebuild available in portage? The upstream for 1.0.0-r1 seems to have been abandoned for a Git-based variant on the VDR Devs site, and the one for 1.0.1_p20141227 does not yet contain the fix needed to compile the plugin successfully with versions of GCC that treat conversions between "NULL" and non-pointer types as errors (it used to be treated as a warning). In other words, what's in portage right now cannot be compiled with a reasonably up-to-date compiler. It requires the user to apply commit 58519c44d5a4 ("fix for bug #2214", 2015-07-15) from, say, https://github.com/vdr-projects/vdr-plugin-epgsearch.git which is acceptable for a experienced hacker but not a novice. in progress, waiting for some EAPI 7 adaption in vdr-plugin-2.eclass then it will be commited in the next few days (with slight changes) Berti Thanks
fixed, bump Thanks Michael for reporting this also i have epgsearch-2.4.0 in my local tree, it will be commited later as it depends on vdr-2.4.x (its not in the tree yet)
