Description Benjamin Schindler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-30 05:20:39 UTC
-When starting matlab (R13), Matlab just segfaults. It sometimes left an error message:
http://www.n.ethz.ch/student/bschindl/java.log.499

-TeamSpeak doesn't give any output.
-I tried both emul*-1.0 and -1.2(-.2)

I just want to note - matlab works now. Matlab seems to have triggered some sort of xorg bug. I upgraded to x11-base/xorg-x11-6.7.99.903 and matlab is now working.
However, Teamspeak is still not working
Comment 2 Jory A. Pratt 2005-01-08 20:33:34 UTC
transcode isnt the problem you need to update your kernel. This will solve problem for teamspeak it is a bad patch that was applied refer to the teamspeak fails with killed only message.
Comment 3 Alex Howells (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-28 11:04:20 UTC
No recent activity, Teamspeak works just fine for me and a comment suggests MatLab is fixed as well. Going to close, considered FIXED - please reopen if its still causing problems using Gentoo/AMD64 2005.0

Thanks,
Alex
