Description Christian Parpart (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-30 03:30:24 UTC
I've a patch to {kdelibs,kdebase}-3.3.0.ebuild files to add kwin
drop shadow support.
I'd like to submit it, but it looks like bugs.gentoo.org-wizard
doesn't let me do so :(

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. get the patch
2. apply
3. run

Actual Results:
happiness ;)

Expected Results:
s.a.

patch follows ASAP I can do :)

kwin dropshadow ebuilds and patches

this tarball contains the ebuild and patch files for kdelibs-3.3.0-r1.ebuild
and kdebase-3.3.0-r1.ebuild to enable suuport for kwin drop shadows as shown
here: http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=15781

proposal: there're some more cute enheancements at kde-look.org/kde-apps.org,
it would be probabely nice to see a useflag (kdelook?) that optionally
enheances kde gentoo distribution by those once, wouldn't it?
Comment 2 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-30 04:12:54 UTC
Why not submitting it to bugs.kde.org instead?
Comment 3 Christian Parpart (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-07 04:38:35 UTC
Well, as of X.Org's X11 Server, we can close this. I tested it, and I tested X.Org X11 (RC4) now for a while and I guess, its just a question of time since KDE's window manager gets official XComposite support.

So - even if functional - I believe we can close this :(

however, greets,
Christian Parpart.
