The raspberry Pi3 requires some bluez patchwork that probably doesn't (yet) belong in the tree, but would be handy for advanced users to have epatch_user.

bluez-5.45 already supports via eapi 6

Well, that's great news, wasn't aware that was rolled into eapi-6.
