Comparing "Contents" in index pages of online devmanual and one installed locally, you can see that "Eclass Reference Pages" is gone from local one. As I understand the reason for this bug is that eclass ref pages are generated from some different source as a separate step. But this isn't satisfactory as locally installed devmanual still should be complete devmanual. The fact that there is a section in online devmanual which is missing in my local installation surprised me a lot. Yes now I see there's app-portage/eclass-manpages package, but it's not obvious you need to install it to complement local devmanual to be on par with online version.
devmanual-0_pre20200207 contains a placeholder for the eclass-reference chapter, with a note that eclass documentation can be found in app-doc/eclass-manpages. So at least the document structure is intact again. If we were to provide eclass manpages as HTML, then IMHO it would make more sense to have app-doc/eclass-manpages install them under some USE conditional. Closing.
