Description Ben 2017-06-01 06:42:46 UTC
When building pulseaudio-10 with USE=lirc and ABI_X86_32 and ABI_X86_64, this will fail with the current app-misc/lirc-0.9.4c as lirc does not build multilib /usr/lib32/liblirc*.so* for ABI_X86_32 as the default is ABI_X86_64.

I temporarily worked around this problem by USE=-lirc on pulseaudio.

(As an unrelated issue, media-video/totem[lirc] also does not build, but I think this is another unrelated issue, I still need to study this a bit and file a separate bug if I figure it out. Anyway, USE=-lirc on totem allows it to build.)

Blocked by libftdi/libftdi not being multilib.
Comment 2 Igor V. Kovalenko 2022-03-20 05:23:50 UTC
I believe this bug is now obsolete:
- there is no pulseaudio-10 package anymore
- USE=lirc is strictly daemon-only option which only requires multilib native ABI dependency

Sorted.
