Description Greg Yasko 2004-08-27 14:48:26 UTC
When running wolfsp the intro movie works but the main menu screen displays only graphics and no text.

Had the same problem with 1.41-r1. Am using an Asus A7M266 motherboard and a PNY Geforce 5700FX, nvidia-kernel-1.0.6111 and nvidia-glx-1.0.6111 , and have no problems with any other games.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge rtcw
2. copy over the 6 .pk3 files to /opt/rtcw/main
3. run wolfsp

Actual Results:
The intro movie runs and when the main menu is displayed there are only
background graphics and no fonts/text.

I'll check this out as soon as I get a chance.

Can you run wolfsp from a terminal and attach the output?
Comment 3 Greg Yasko 2004-09-17 16:46:13 UTC
RTCW works just fine with the right pak0.pk3 file. There were two files by that name on my copy of Wolfenstein (The Extended Edition) and I used the wrong one.

Works beautifully now. Sorry for the errant bug report after bungling my installation.

No problem, man... it happens to us all.
