Description Niels Dettenbach 2017-05-24 13:34:23 UTC
Hiho Dears,

the current stable de-apps/kdepim-runtime-17.04.1 has a serious bug, not allowing users to create / configure new imap accounts on akonadi / kmail (the setup or edit dialog just crashes) which makes kmail / kdepim unusable to at least new users.

I deleted the accounts as recommended to solve another bug in that version, but can't reconfigure them now - ugly...

As reported here:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379548

The available fix should be backported to 17.04.2 now.

Could someone please update the ebuilds for kdepim-runtime?

many many thanks,
best regards,

Niels.

Thanks for your report - however, 17.04.1 is not stable.
