it seems it cannot find libxml2 lib... but it's listed in deps :/ dev-libs/libxml2-2.9.7:2::gentoo USE="lzma python readline -debug -examples -icu -ipv6 -static-libs {-test}" ABI_X86="32 (64) (-x32)" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7 python3_5 python3_6 -python3_4" 0 KiB That works for me, maybe you need it built with python support
