Description Przemyslaw Maciag (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-26 16:27:34 UTC
I tried to emerge KDE on my iBook G4 - without effect. I know there's no keyword for ppc for now... this is just ehnacement bug for now...

Compilation stops on kdelibs; arts-1.3.0 compiles fine

compilation output:

Comment 3 Przemyslaw Maciag (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-27 03:28:30 UTC
Hmmmmm.......

segfault on cc1plus was strange for me - I've seen it for the first time. As I spoke with friends - this shouldn't happen....

Please close this bug report, since after reemerging few thing system 'back to normal' - atleast as I can see - and kdelibs has merged on my ppc.

Sorry for troubling you guys.

Regards,
Przemek
Comment 4 J.O. Aho 2005-03-03 00:59:16 UTC
I know this is an already closed one, but I get similare results on a PegasosII/G4 with a system all upto date for 20050302, kdelibs-3.3.2-r3 and kdelibs-3.3.2-r4 have both segfault on me, but I can build it without problems if I do it manually, so it feels more that this is something caused by the portage/sandbox than a fault in kdelibs or other system files.

J.O. Aho: emerge info output please.
