The proxy-maint project is currently using 'maintainer bugs' to track proxied maintainers, with special focus on their Bugzilla e-mail changes. Right now, all (most of?) those bugs end up with regular bugs in the 'current packages' component. I think it'd be better to have a dedicated component for it. I think it would be nice to put them into the product with Gentoo dev bugs, and possibly be able to establish a more visible apparent relation between proxied maintainers and potential recruits. However, right now opening bugs in this component is restricted to developers, so possible proxy-maint devs would have to create proxied maintainer bugs. Any other ideas?
