Qupzilla 2.1.2 is not displaying icons properly. There appears to be at least two different issues: 1. The back and forward page selector arrows, the home icon, the reload icon, and virtually all other icons do not display. This occurs only with the "Linux Default" theme. This appears to be an issue with recent changes from the .png format to the .svg format. Discussion (albeit on OS X) here: https://github.com/QupZilla/qupzilla/issues/2180 See also in /usr/share/qupzilla/themes/linux/images, a mix of .png and .svg images, which none of the other themes folders contain. Also note there are only approximately one-third the number of image files in "Linux Default" as the other theme image folders. 2. If choosing a different theme, the forward and back arrows are present, as are the home icon, reload icon, etc. However, there are still many icons missing, i.e., in Edit -> Preferences, there are no icons on the left hand side. I'm confused. I am reporting a bug in a running program - there was no discernable problem at build time and there is no build.log, since the program built without error. Additionally, there are no run-time errors reported in /var/log/syslog or /var/log messages. There are no errors reported if the program is run from a terminal. Please clarify your resuest and I'll be glad to provide whatever additional information you request.
I can confirm this problem. When you select the Linux theme the following icons are missing: previous, next, reload, home. All other themes have them. Let's take the Breathe theme for example: /usr/share/qupzilla/themes/breathe/images/previous.png /usr/share/qupzilla/themes/breathe/images/next.png /usr/share/qupzilla/themes/breathe/images/reload.png /usr/share/qupzilla/themes/breathe/images/home.png There are no corresponding files in /usr/share/qupzilla/themes/linux/images, neither in PNG nor in SVG format.
I also confirm that in version 2.2.2 does not have these icons.
Please check if you had qtsvg:5 installed, if not, install it manually to test if there are any remaining missing icons.
I just tried =www-client/qupzilla-2.2.3 and I can't reproduce this problem anymore: all themes are displayed correctly. I have installed =dev-qt/qtsvg-5.9.3 on my system.
