As mrueg has dropped these packages to maintainer-needed I would like to take over as proxy-maintainer. biblatex and biblatex-apa belong to the tex herd, but as biblatex and biber are tightly coupled I would like to take over all of them.

Only biber is m-n. Other two packages are maintained by the Gentoo TeX Project.

sure, you have my blessing; please send a PR updating metadata (not sure how proxy maint project handles this though)

I've created a PR adding me and proxy-maintainer project as maintainers, not touching the tex herd for biblatex and biblatex-apa.
