This fixes a bug in the previous stable version reported in bug 615208.
Sorry, I don't mean to be pushy, but is there any update on this? I see the deadline is set to 2017-06-06, which is almost 3 weeks ago. I personally use the testing branch of Gentoo, so am not affected but I'd be highly surprised if others were not hitting the bug mentioned in https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=615208 on a regular basis. There are scripts contained in www-misc/awstats that depend on HTMLDoc to produce PDFs. Specifically, the awstats_buildstaticpages.pl perl script. The test case I produced in the above bug report is a cut-down version of a real-world scenario, using the Awstats logo. As such, I would have thought that many people on Gentoo stable branch, using Awstats would encounter this bug. I think it would be highly beneficial to get HTMLDoc 1.8.30 into the stable branch of Gentoo. If I have misunderstood the process here, then please disregard.
Nope, not being pushy, thanks for the reminder. I've been busy so I haven't been checking on my old open bugs as often. I've CCed the arches.
