This is more a question then a bug, why are we still with 2.4.4, when 2.4.9 with a lot of bugfixes is out already? 

Any specific problems with it that I am not aware of?

Are you aware of the fact that this release has been out not even a day? Please give us some time and don't file freaking requests without any useful info or help minutes after an upstream tarball gets posted. Go annoy someone else.

And if you have questions ask them on IRC, bugzilla is for bugs.
