I have been using the User Handbook icon to point to the latest version.  Apparently it is pointing to an ODS file.
Can the next LiveDVD point to the current handbook address?
This issue has caused me to get Flame Mail as responses to my bug requests.

My suggestion would be to show how to test and change the net address then point to the current manual

What ISO are you using? There is both an upstream link to current handbook and a local copy which it's only to be used when no network is available. To setup network use 'net-setup eth0' for example or use the provided network manager applet on desktop.

I am using the most current Gentoo Live ISO.  I use the EFI installation method.

I think the best method would be to have the User Handbook icon to point to the most current hand book on wiki and let the user decided what flavor to use.
