I made an ebuild for inetctl, homepage is at http://inetctrl.sourceforge.net/ (yes, it is inetctl, not inetctrl). See attached ebuild and please submit to portage. Too bad I can't (yet) compile this on amd64, I get this error: gcc -o libinetctl.so inetctl.o inetctl_config.o inetctl_command.o inetctl_client.o inetctl_actions.o inetctl_status.o -L/usr/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lgtk -lgdk -rdynamic -lgmodule -lglib -ldl -lXi -lXext -lX11 -lm -lxmms -shared /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.1/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: inetctl.o: relocation R_X86_64_32 can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC inetctl.o: could not read symbols: Bad value collect2: ld returned 1 exit status If somebody knows a fix, please add an epatch. OK, fixed the AMD64 bug and a typo in the ebuild. Please check this new ebuild.
Created attachment 38192 [details] New xmms-inetctl ebuild
Please post the ebuilds as text instead of octet-stream
Created attachment 38466 [details] New xmms-inetctl ebuild in text format Here you are... (I don't see the problem, but OK)
XMMS is now obsolete, although still in Portage and somewhat supported, we're not accepting any more related packages.
