Hi all, i just want to record this here, actually, at least in my case gnome was crashing over and over again, one day searching i found some problem of chrome with a extension and there was some problems, anyway, the solution for that was disable the hardware acceleration in chrome, and magically now the desktop don't crash. So, if someone the desktop (i test this in gnome) is crashing a lot, in the gnome case the session is restarted, disabling that in chrome i think can help, at least in my experience, this option is in the config of chrome, bottom of page, advance config, go to bottom again and there will be a check option.
