request update to latest version for x86 platform. it's in the changelog but doesn't look like any activity since 07/12/2004.

I don't understand what you are asking. rsnapshot 1.1.6 is already in portage.

Marked stable on x86. Please mention the package name next time you file a bug - this makes it much easier to handle bugs.
