Description Petross404(Petros S) 2017-04-22 15:21:55 UTC
It would be great if a similar way to EXTRA_ECONF existed for other eclasses and packages. It is a pitty that in the distro of full customizability and source compilation, only for a limited set of packages there is a way to interfere with the compilation. And of course USE Flags can't cut it for everything.
Comment 1 Petross404(Petros S) 2017-04-22 22:57:41 UTC
E.g. qmake-based packages (those who use eqmake5) could provide something like a EXTRA_EQMAKE5 variable or so to customize the configuration.

Likewise for other build systems.

You should report bugs against individual eclasses, preferably with patches.

Fair enough :)

Should we close this bug?
