Description dieter ferdinand 2017-04-22 08:55:08 UTC
hello,
after installing gcc 5.4.0 i switch to this version and try to install the open updates.

but one of the packages break with error. with the old gcc 4.xx i can install the package without problems.

if i remember right, it was the cups-filter package.

Please don't submit bugs until you have successfully moved from GCC-4 to GCC-5,
there's a news item for you to study:

https://www.gentoo.org/support/news-items/2015-10-22-gcc-5-new-c++11-abi.html

Once you have rebuilt by using the command in the news item, *DO NOT SWITCH
BACK TO AN EARLIER GCC, EVER*.
