Hello all, I don't know if you follow the security mailing lists, but in the last six months I made an incredible work with fuzzing (https://blogs.gentoo.org/ago/advisories/ ) discovering dozens of CVEs. For some reasons I don't have anymore the machines I used in the past. I asked to prometheanfire, which said that we have a credit from rackspace and he can provide me a machine. The purpose of this machine is for fuzzing, so to improve the security of some opensource projects. Thanks
What sort of specifications do you need on the system? CPU: speed & count (and any specific extensions) RAM: size Disk: (size, type)
I talked about that with Mattew and I forgot to mention them here. CPU: at least 8core, 16 would be better RAM: 8GB DISK: 50GB Thanks.
Rackspace hosted option. | general1-8 | 8 GB General Purpose v1 | 8192 | 160 | 0 | 8 | N/A | 8G ram, 160G disk, 8 cpu Costs, ~220 a month This has my ack, both as infra and foundation
+1 on that system, esp if ago spins it down when it's not in use (give him an easy way to power up again).
Ago's stopped his fuzzing projects: https://blogs.gentoo.org/ago/2020/04/16/why-i-stopped-fuzzing-research/
