The tiser module (see URL above) supports TI's serial cables for its TI-xx line of graphing calculators. Can you look into including this patch in gentoo-dev-sources?

According to the URL, its already included in the upstream kernel since 2.5.

Um... no:

"III The home-made serial link & the BlackLink cables

This module is finished and has been submitted to the Linux Kernel Mailing List for approval. I think that it will not be included in the kernel for some technical reasons."

I hesitate to ask whether anybody actually checked to see if it was there.

Doesn't matter if it's in there or not, I'm not going to add it to the g-d-s tree,  it needs to be submitted upstream.  That way all users of Linux benifit, and it
reduces the gentoo developer's maintaince.
