OpenVMPS is a VLAN Management Policy Server (VMPS) written for Linux.  It allows VLAN-capable switches to update their VLAN information dynamically through the use of GVRP.

For your next ebuild can you clean out all the generic ebuild comments.

But it doesn't want to  play nice with my D-Link DGS-3224TG switches :-(.

I think the OpenVMPS project is geared specifically towards Cisco gear.  I'm sure they'd love to hear the feedback!  :-)
